Senior Programmer/Analyst

Dr. Lee has adapted Medicaid and Medicare data for policy planning and economic forecasting applications for projects from the national MSIS source and for the states of Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Ohio and California. She has designed and written programs for the interpretation and analysis of claims data from disparate sources, implemented algorithms for the categorization of service types, identified disability and impairment from diagnostic data, and produced analysis of adverse medical outcomes. While at JEN Dr. Lee has specialized in the production of computer programs for the flexible adaptation of data from multiple sources. She has concentrated on the development of highly adaptive data importation and categorization systems. She is directly responsible for the design and implementation of production level code that has been used repeatedly for the analysis of Medicaid and Medicare data from over ten states. Dr. Lee is an expert in the implementation of the data driven simulation tools.
